Beer Mile Training

Johnson farted. I've known this guy for 17 years and NEVER have I ever heard him blow ass. This weekend has been full of firsts and there goes another one.

The Beer Mile training session today went well. Johnson ran an easy 7:52 and I sandbagged the running but learned a bit more about my gag reflex with an 11:20. It isn't the foam. My body just doesn't want the alcohol. But I have a plan...oh yes, I have a plan.

Who am I kidding? I'm full of shit.

The Burke-Gilman Beer Mile is back on May 12th, 2007. The race starts at 7:45pm so don't be late.

Burke-Gilman Beer Mile

A new men's champion was crowned in 2006 as Joey Johnson overpowered a strong field to unseat two-time champ and course record holder Chris Charles. Elizabeth Ullstrom defended her title and dropped her time by a minute to become the only three-time champion in the three-year history of the event.
