Delta Air Lines Has Good Customer Service

Just want to send a blogosphere shout-out to my friends at DAL. My car service totally screwed me this morning and I missed my flight. The ladies at the Delta counter, despite packed flights, gave me a confirmed business class seat on a late flight and then a standby spot for an earlier flight. That means if I don't make the standby cutoff on the earlier flight, I get a guaranteed business class seat on the second one. For no charge.

I H8 NY Cabbies

I love it when cabbies get late in their shifts and either won't pull over because you are carrying a briefcase and are obviously headed down town or they ask you before you can get inside and then speed off.

I did just call a cabbie guy a lazy fuck just now so that made my day. I could fit in here...

Furry 5K 2008

We ran the Furry 5K to benefit the Seattle Animal Shelter today. Chris Charles won the race with his Golden Retriever, Carlo. I ran with Walter the Dachshund and came in just under 20 minutes...which is pretty damn impressive for a little Doxy with stubby legs. Saffy and Elizabeth walked with Saffy's good pals Amber, Zoe, and Ellie.
