The real winners in this election where the pollsters, who in my opinion did a great job in predicting the outcome of this election...at least on a national level.

Have you followed the baseball stats guy Nate Silver? He made the jump to politics this year and is getting credit for having maybe the best and closest forecasts in the elections this year. Also got bonus points I guess for predicting the Rays would jump up to 90+ wins with his stat formulas.
