Heps Cross Country 2007 Results
While the Princeton teams expectedly ran away from the field today, I have to give a lot of credit to Jason Saretsky, the second-year Harvard coach, for his men's and women's teams fifth place performances at Van Cortlandt Park this morning.

Bear in mind that credit or blame for talent or lack thereof goes from zero percent in year one, 25 percent in year two, 50 percent in year three, 75 percent in year four, and finally 100 percent in year five. This could vary slightly due to disruptive changes in coaching philosophy that might lead to a premature skewing toward young blood in the early years, due to old-guard hold-outs who can't accept the new management and decide to quit.
The Harvard XC teams have been nothing but horrible in the last several years and today's effort, while not at a championship level, puts the team solidly in the "respectable" column after just one year of Saretsky's presence.
